Incoming exchange students at TUM Department of Informatics
With a network of over 160 Unversities TUM Department of Informatics is happy to welcome its exchange students!
Informatics means that you will find nearly every aspect of Computer Science, Computing or Computer Engineering covered. As we offer many courses in English (mainly at Master level) we are a very international faculty. Advanced Bachelor students may take Master courses if they bring fitting prerequisites, as many of our exchange students do. We recommend to have studied at least two years of Computer Science/Informatics or Information Systems respectively before your stay at our department.
You can study for max. 3 semesters at TUM. You will be enrolled as an exchange student, and it will be possible to visit lectures also from other TUM departments. Application and enrolment will be much easier, no tuition fees have to be paid.
