Orientation Program (Master's)

Each semester, TUM, the Department of Informatics and the Study Advisors arrange an orientation program for new international degree students at the department. The program includes Introduction Days and various activities designed to help you settle into life as a student at TUM, academically and socially.

Info Session about Accommodation (September 12, 2017)

You should take care of accommodation on time, tips see  here. If it is still of interest for you:

On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, 2.00 - 4.00 pm in  lecture hall 0606 at TUM Main Campus there will be an information event on accommodation in Munich.

 Online registration is necessary

Café with the student advisors (October 5th + 11th, 2017)

There are two Cafés with the student advisors for Master's students:

Thursday, October 5th, 2017, 10.30 am

Wednesday, October 11th, 2016, 9.30 am

both in  interims lecture hall 2

Fit for TUM (Thursday, Oktober 5th, 2017)

The service fair  Fit for TUM on October 5th, 2017 is the perfect place for first semester students to find information on all topics concerning their studies at TUM. They can inform themselves about fees, financial aid, living in Munich, sports, university life and much more.

 

 

IT at the TUM (October 11th, 2017)

At the beginning of every semester there is a presentation  IT at the TUM for new students:

Introduction days (October 12th - 16th, 2017)

There are  introduction days, starting on Thursday, October 12th, till Monday October 16th, 2017. They are mainly organized by the student's organization.

 

Collective opening hour from the academic advisors (October 16th, 2017)

On Monday, October 16th, 2016, 10.00 am there will be in room  MI 02.11.018 a collective opening hour from the academic advisors - especially for those who missed the Café with the student advisors, see above.

Freshman Reception (October 16th, 2017)

Every October, several thousand first-year students stream to TUM campuses for their first round of classes. In the course of numerous welcome events and orientation activities, freshmen acquire their first taste of university life. At the  Freshman Reception, President Herrmann traditionally makes a point of greeting first-semester students in person during an evening celebration featuring free beer and live music.
