Prerequisites for Admission to Examination

  • University Graduates: A completed course of study with a minimum grade of “good” (B) in one of the following courses of study- Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering,
    Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Surveying and Mapping, Brewing and Beverage Technology or Food Technology.

  • Technical College Graduates: Technical College Graduates with excellent grades could be admitted upon request after having obtained a minimum grade of 1,5 (A-).

Other courses of study will be permitted upon request, but good preparatory training in Mathematics or Informatics is an important prerequisite. The decision lies in the hands of  Prof. Seidl from the Examination Committee.

Postgraduate Studies will conclude with an examination. A certificate will be given upon the passing of this examination.

 

Online Application

The Informatics Research Studies application for the Winter Semester 2011/2012 can be completed online until July 15, 2011, starting from May 15th.

 TUMOnline

After completion of your online application you will receive a list of documents which must be submitted to the TU München by mail by Friday July 15, 2011. The university’s incoming mail stamp is required.
