Choose for yourself

As you could gather from the above simplified Graphic, subsequent to your Bachelor as a first university degree, a manifold of possibilities will be open to you.

  • You could enter into your career. Through your well-founded Bachelor education from the Faculty of Informatics at the TUM you are well prepared for career entry.
  • You may choose among a multitude of Master courses of study. Should you decide not to continue your first course of study, preparatory courses may conceivably make it possible for an exact fit into a new course of study.
  • You may enter into one of our Master courses of study from another university. Here we could test your previous knowledge and offer you preparatory courses for proper entry.

By the way: The TUM organizes the  Ferienakademie yearly in South Tyrol's Sarntal – in cooperation with the universities from  Erlangen and Stuttgart. For the past 25 years now, students can get together in Sarntal for two weeks to talk about topics in informatics among other things.
