Student Day at the Department of Informatics
Dear Students, Dear Teachers!
The yearly Student Day offers all interested school children and of course teachers and parents as well, the opportunity to get informed about the manifold of study possibilities at the TUM. On this day, the Department of Informatics will introduce their study programs.

Generally from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm we offer the following in the main hall:
- Course counselling for Informatics, Informatics: Games Engineering, Information Systems and Bioinformatics
- Information booth for the possibilities of a study stay abroad

- Guided Tour: High performance at the Department of Informatics: State-of-the-Art networking in Garching

- 11:00 am - 11:30 am Lecture: Innovation in – and with – Security, Prof. Dr. Claudia Eckert, Chair for IT Security - lecture hall HS1
- 11:30 am - 12:00 pm (EXTRA 11): Introduction of Informatics study programs - Dr. Angelika Reiser, Department of Informatics Course Counsellor, HS1
12:00 pm - 13:00 pm Brezen (Bavarian pretzels)- donated by the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Informatics

EXTRA 11 is a special program for the Grade 11 class
The individual EXTRA11-Program points are open to all class years. For the EXTRA11-Program participating students obtain an additional certificate for the EXTRA11-lectures attended.
