Doctoral degree

After successful master’s studies, one can continue one’s studies to acquire a doctoral degree. A doctorate takes an average of three to five years. One can either work at the department or do a doctorate at one of the graduate programs with a scholarship.

In most cases, an applicant would have a master’s degree in one of the academic fields taught at the department of Informatics. Then, being admitted to the doctoral program is very easy. When the degree was acquired abroad or in another academic field, there are specific rules and regulations for admittance to the program.
