Mentoring at TUM

Mentoring means, that an experienced person, the Mentor, imparts his/her professional knowledge and experience to his/her protégé. This is how the Mentor can foster the personal and professional development of his/her protégé.
The TU München has three of its own Mentoring Programmes especially aimed at the intellectually gifted and at female students from all faculties as of their third year of study:

• TUM² Mentoring for Students and Alumni
• mentorING Careerbuilding for Female Engineers and Natural Scientists
• "Experienced Paths to Research" Mentoring for the intellectually gifted
