Application areas in all subject examination regulations

 

For course of study begin after the 2007/08 winter semester, it is presumed that your application area will be generated within the framework of an interdisciplinary project.

 IDP offers

Interdisciplinary Project (IDP)

The interdisciplinary project is comprised of practical work in the application area and bridges the gap between Informatics and the application area. It might be advantageous to possess some previous knowledge from the application area studied in the bachelor program. Generally, examination results are made up of lecture grades (min. 5 ECTS, no lab courses or seminars), practical work (max. 8 ECTS), documentation (min. 2 ECTS) and presentation (min. 1 ECTS).

Notice that any lecture out of the elective courses in Informatics can not be taken into consideration!

The interdisciplinary project can be taken in one of the standard application areas (Examples only in German):

The IDP can also be taken in another area upon request.
