Technology Management @ CDTM

As a center of excellence of the Ludwig-Maximilian-Universität München and the Technische Universität München, the Center for Digital Technology and Management (CDTM) offers talented students the international and interdisciplinary graduate program "Honours Degree in Technology Management" which is part of the Elitenetzwerk Bayern (ENB). The program is designed for highly talented, motivated and entrepreneurial-minded students.

The curriculum which is integrated into the regular studies focuses on technology management, trend research, product development, marketing and entrepreneurship and prepares you for future leadership positions in your professional career. The time scheme of the study program depends on the individual study plans and typically takes 1 to 2 years. Lectures, seminars, and workshops are realized in close cooperation with big industry partners such as Siemens, Deutsche Telekom, BMW, BCG as well as small and fast growing start-ups. During a term abroad at one of our partner universities (UC Berkeley, Columbia, Carnegie Mellon University, HEC Montreal, etc.), you will gather the necessary skills to succeed in international and cross-functional settings.

The application deadline for the program starting in March is November 30th, for the program starting in August the deadline is May 30th.

 

Orientation for our Master Study Programs

On Thursday, May 10th, 2012, you can inform yourself about the Master programs at the Department of Informatics.

There will be information desks for the study programs from 2.00 - 4.00 p.m. near the library and talks from 4.00 - 6.00 p.m. in room   MI 00.13.009A.

Upon completion of your Master's degree – starting your Ph.D.

The Ph.D. is your entry ticket towards an academic career or business leadership. Due to the number of professorships the TUM´s Informatics Department offers a great variety of research topics. Furthermore the department is quite experienced. A recent university ranking with a focus on research (CHE research ranking 2009) revealed that, in comparison to other German universities, TUM’s Informatics Department is leading in terms of annual numbers of completed Ph.D. projects. Consequently the TUM Informatics Department is at the top level in this ranking and is one of the strongest informatics departments in Germany in the field of research.
