The Handelsblatt Business Administration Ranking
Very Successful TUM Information Systems Specialists
The TU München’s TUM School of Management stands in fifth place in the Handelsblatt Business Administration ranking which establishes it as the top research university in Germany. Those compared were universities in Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
In addition to the university ranking, the publication performance of over 3000 scientists was evaluated. Top grades were also obtained by two information systems professors from the Department of Informatics. In the business administration ranking “Top 250 Researchers Life’s Work”, Helmut Krcmar takes place 31 and Martin Bichler place 64.
In the “Top 100 Current Researchers” ranking, which identifies the research performance of scientists in the last five years in German-speaking regions, Martin Bichler (in place 24) and Helmut Krcmar (in place 31) are also represented. In the evaluation of presence in the most important qualitative A+ journals, Martin Bichler even occupies 4th place.
The Handelsblatt ranking considers scientific publications according to international standards. The list was compiled by the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at the ETH Zurich.
