World Map Event with International Students

Where do international students of the Department actually come from?
In order to find out more about them, a world map was painted at the floor of Magistrale, the big entrance hall of the Informatics building.
After a warm welcome by Prof. Gerndt, students were given signs with the names of their home country on them. They received applause by other students and staff when taking their places on the map.
During the semester, several other events are organised for international students and those who are interested in intercultural exchange. See International Café
