In the same way, the job opportunities and career paths on offer to graduates of the program are diverse, constantly exploring new fields of application, and usually characterized by a high level of interdisciplinarity.
Thanks to their computational abilities, advanced programming skills, and understanding of sophisticated models and algorithms, computational science and engineering graduates are in demand to solve large-scale problems that were once thought to be unmanageable.
Meet our Program Alumni
Niko Manopulo began the Master's in Computational Science and Engineering program after completing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering at Bogazici University, Istanbul. He is now a Ph.D. student at the Institute of Virtual Manufacturing, ETH Zurich.
Siew Hoon Leong works in the High Performance System Department of the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre and is a specialist in grid computing. She started the Master's in Computational Science and Engineering after completing a bachelor's degree in electrical and electronic engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Bernhard Gatzhammer is a Ph.D. student at the International Graduate School of Science and Engineering at TUM. He started the Master's in Computational Science and Engineering program after finishing a diploma degree in mechatronics at the University of Applied Sciences, Regensburg.
