GALILEO building officially opened

New congress center and service center

At the TUM Garching research campus the new, central conference and service center officially opened on Tuesday, June 1st. The approximately 200 meters long GALILEO building is among other things home to the Science Congress Center, with seminar rooms and a main auditorium that holds up to 1.300 people. The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning, the Munich Data Science Institute as well as the TUM Georg Nemetschek Institute all enjoy a central location at GALILEO. The building complex features office space, shopping, restaurants and a health club; GALILEO also has a hotel and an apartment house for convenient accommodation of guests right at the heartbeat of science.
