Prof. Daniel Rückert is being appointed to one of the first two Alexander von Humboldt Professorships for artificial intelligence (AI). He most recently served as a Professor of Visual Information Processing and served as the Head of the Department of Computing at Imperial College London. TUM has now succeeded in recruiting this expert in AI-based medicine. At TUM, Prof. Rückert's research will help to build additional bridges between informatics and medicine.
