Few years ago the in-vehicle software functions were small and used short signals to communicate one with another. Nowadays these functions are getting bigger and use broadband communication to transfer al the data needed. Also the interconnectedness between the functions is rising rapidly.
This leads to new requirements for automotive software interfaces. Changes on the interfaces have a big impact on the rest oft the system. Therefore a future-proof interface-design has to be developed.
Our goal is to develop new approaches for automotive interfaces design which leads to robust reliable and small interfaces.
