Ph.D. Position on Efficient Neuromorphic Signal Processing for Autonomous Driving

Neuromorphic processors that are optimized for the simulation of spiking neural networks bear huge potential for future highly energy-efficient real-time AI applications. So far, computational models for neuromorphic computing are still in their infancy and have not got beyond simple research prototypes. The goal of this project is to develop the first comprehensive spiking signal processing system for sensor data processing in autonomous vehicles that can be executed on state-of-the-art neuromorphic processors.

Softwareentwickler(in) und Startup Mitgründer(in) für modulare Roboter

We are a small team in the process of founding a robotics company and applying for an EXIST-scholarship. To complete our team, we are looking for a talented software developer or electrical and computer engineer and co-founder. In case of a successful funding, we will offer a full-time position starting mid-2019. The main idea of our company is to enable customers to easily create different robots from a small set of modules instead of buying a new robot each time a task has changed. After assembly, the robot is ready to run instantly by calculating its dynamic properties automatically. More information can be found here.
