Tobias Duswald, M.Sc.
Technische Universität München
- Sprechstunde: anytime
Tobias studied physics at the Technical University of Munich with a specialization in nuclear, particle and astrophysics. In his bachelor thesis he dealt with the su(3) Lie algebra and its significance for theoretical elementary particle physics. In his master thesis he investigated alternative computational methods for quantum mechanical systems based on the two-particle reduced density matrix.
Here at the chair Tobias supports the KI-ASIC project together with three other colleagues and deals with spiking neural networks.
Summer term 2020:
- Seminar - Bio-inspired Data Processing and Learning With Neural Networks (IN2107, IN4996)
- Cognitive Systems: Neural Networks and Applied AI (IN2222)
I am happy to supervise bachelor as well as master thesis which are related to my research focus. It lies on spiking neural networks. Currently, I would like to supervise the following topics:
- (Bachlor) Investigate the curse of dimensionality for neural networks used for approximating functions. Application deadline: 31.05.2020. Details
