Welcome to the Chair for Information Systems and Business Process Management
The chair was founded in 1987 at the University of Hohenheim. In 2002 Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar followed the call of the Technische Universität München. Since then, the chair has continued to grow and, as of November 2020, consists of 36 employees. The chair belongs to the Faculty of Informatics. In October 2020 Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar retired and Prof. Dr. Markus Böhm now serves as interim chair holder. In future, the group will continue as Research Group Krcmar.
