Welcome to Krcmar Lab

The research group was originally founded in 1987 at the University of Hohenheim as the Chair for Information Systems. In 2002 Prof. Dr. Helmut Krcmar followed the call of the Technische Universität München. In October 2020 Prof. Krcmar retired and the research group behind the Chair for Information Systems became the Krcmar Lab. The research group belongs to the Department of Informatics and is organizationally embedded in the newly created Chair for Information Systems and Business Process Management. As of April 2021, the Krcmar Lab consists of 21 employees and continues to conduct its research and project work.
