The research activity of our lab focuses on the areas of bionic prostheses and assistive robotics. Our main research interests include the study of human movement, the design of bionic prostheses and wearable devices based on soft robotics technologies, the development of advanced control algorithms and innovative assessments for upper limb rehabilitation using emerging technologies, such as virtual reality.
Our lab promotes multidisciplinary research, that spans engineering, biology and medicine, in a collaborative and multicultural environment. We promote strong collaboration with national and international universities, research centers, industries and clinical partners.
